Ky-Mani Marley was an established Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most successful. In the film that became a cult classic, Shottas he starred opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was Like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles such as Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) as well as the Who the Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. The majority of them helped contribute to his growing popularity with the young generation of reggae singers. However, his mother was supportive of his decision to study guitar and piano. It is the East African word for "Adventurous Traveler" is the name he chose for himself. Ky-Mani Marley was born in Jamaica on February 26 the 26th of February, 1976. He is a Jamaican music producer and rapper. The Ky-Mani name is East African and means Adventurer Traveler. He is the only child from Bob Marley with Anita Belnavis a Jamaican table tennis player.
